Happy 3 Months, Nicholas!
I cannot believe that 3 months ago today, Nicholas was born. The time has been fabulous, difficult and so much fun all at the same time! You get nine months to think about how your life will change once the baby arrives, but you really have no clue! The love that I feel for Nicholas is so much bigger than I could have imagined. Overall he is such a happy, loving baby and Matthew and I feel so blessed to have him in our life.
He laughs, smiles and talks to us all the time now. He is able to reach out, grasp and hold toys all by himself. And just last week he rolled over from his back to his belly. I think he actually knew what he did too, because he did it several more times that night and twice the next day. We go back to the pediatrician at the end of April for his 4-month well baby check up so we’ll get his exact height and weight then. But just weighing him on our scale here, he is about 15 lbs! He is in pretty much all 6 month clothes with some 3-6 month onesies thrown in. Here are the most recent pictures from this past couple of weeks. The first 4 are from our photo shoot for his 3 month portraits and the others are from this weekend’s visit to VA.

Sorry Nicholas, we are not going to get to come and play with you after all! Your cousins are bummed! They love babies and hope to see you when you are still one!!Maybe this summer will work better for all of us!!! Your are welcome to come to FL any time, we could give mom and dad the night off!!!!!

Nicholas is so cute! I missed those days sometimes. Don’t know when we will get to meet you. But I love looking at your blog and seeing your pictures. Uncle Bill & I will be in Florida to catch a cruise in May. Wish we had time to take a detour and visit you.

I just looked through all the pictures from when you were born to now and I can’t believe how much you have changed and grown. You just become more handsome everyday
I was bragging about what a handsome and big boy you are and even shared a couple of pictures. Everyone agrees with me that you are the most handsome and perfect baby ever ( they aren’t just humoring me, they really beleive it 
You are pure and complete joy and sunshine to Papa and I and I can’t wait to see you again so we can play and I can give you lots of Nana kisses
